Who we are.
We are Tilted Frame, and you are very welcome here.

What we do.
We run free filmmaking workshops for young people aged 14-18.
Those who attend will get to work on all aspects of making a short film, including: working on ideas together, screenwriting, planning, production and editing.
We are youth-led, which means we encourage the young people who attend our courses to make the creative decisions!
It’s a community - making a film means you work together with other people. Young people who attend will have different roles, like director, writer, actor or camera operator - but all are working towards a shared goal. And if you want to try a different role next time - you can!
While some of our events may be one-offs - we hope to offer the chance for young people to keep developing their filmmaking practice over a number of years, trying different roles - or getting better at ones they’ve tried before.
Ultimately, we believe that filmmaking is a great way to explore what it means to be human, what it means to make art and what it means to work together and we want young people to have a chance to experience that, for free.
What is a CIC?
CIC stands for Community Interest Company.
In other words, we are a not-for-profit company that exists for the benefit of the communities we work with.
